Hi Beccaboop, i've heard that you can miss your surge if you just test once a day...as in if you were to test say at 2pm everyday, and you surged at 4pm, your hormone levels could go back down before you test at 2pm the next day - therefore not knowing you had the surge. That's one possibility. Or perhaps you are ovulating later this month. Try testing twice a day just on those key days that you suspect you will ovulate (to save money!!) and see how it goes. Good luck!xx

Thanks I did think maybe I just tested too late but I'm testing at 4.30pm when I finish work. I thought about testing earlier and testing twice a day but I can't test at work so I can't really do either. I'm just going to stop using (they are stressing me out too much) and just have every other day from cd8 till cd20 and hope that works!!

i love my opks ive always used the clear blue digital ones and always tested in the afternoon between 2 and 4 pm every day starting on day 8 of my cycle i have used them for 3 months and have always gotten a positive, they are so easy to read because it gives you a smiley face when positive, there is no guessing. i know they are a bit more expensive, but for me i have a normal 26-28 day cycle so i havent even gone through one box which contains 20 sticks per box, i only have had to use 6 per cycle before i got my positive, and i only test once a day, and always get my positive no guessing if it is or isnt positive it helps relieve the stress of trying.
