CD1 of irregular cycles...anyone else?

AF got me today after a 54 day cycle. My cycles can be anywhere from 30-60 days and average arouns 40-50 for the most part. I switched GYN's as my old one is retiring. My new doctor ordered all kinds of lab work on Monday and discussed starting me on Clomid right away depending on those results. I'm really glad she wants to start stuff right away.

Is anyone else in the same boat with starting their cycle today and having long, irregular cycles?

I haven't seen a dr. yet because we don't have medical insurance at the moment. Looking into getting it in the next month though. We arent doing much trying this cycle except opk so that i can know when i'm ovulating

It's so frustrating having irregular cycles! I went to the doctor for my annual GYN exam and due to my irregular cycles, she decided to order the blood work. I'm glad she did though and now that I got AF today I'll see what's next.

kerrbear-I can relate on the long irregular cycles. I am not on CD1 but I am on CD39 and if I don't O by tomorrow which it doesnt look like I will, I am on my way to my longest cycle since stopping BCP in August, see my sig below for cycle lengths. I also had long irregular cycles pre bcp. I have an appt with my dr next week so I am hoping she will order bloodwork so I can find out what is wrong. How long have you been ttc? Have your cycles always been irregular and long?

I'm confused with my cycle right now. I thought it started yesterday but I had a slight amount of bleeding and then it stopped until about an hour ago.

Just to give my tuppence worth, I'm on CD53... As usual I have 2 cycles at 31 days and then a curve ball of 50+

I feel your pain!! It's so disheartening when you think things will start to settle or get a routine.

How can you know tell if you're late when you're ALWAYS "late" lol

I came off of Depo Provera a year ago and got my first AF in November. She then took a LOA and just finally showed her face. CD1 for me after a 161 day cycle!

I know! I never really know for sure when to expect AF. It sucks. I wish my cycles were more predictable.

I agree. Thanks! I am just hopeful that she'll remain "normal" unless I get my BFP!
