Twins run in our family too my dad is a twin but I have a couple of other names I like too like Jessy for a girl but not jessica and Jasper for a boy . I wouldn't mind having twin tho I know it would be double the work but I dont mind that! Would you dress twins the same?? It bugs me when I see that they are not the same person!! Soi wouldn't dress them the same!
As far as I know fraternal twins run along the mother's side and skip a generation, and identical twins are not hereditary. So if your dad has twins on his side, I don't know if that would make you any more likely for twins or not. I really hope DH and I have twins though!! My mother's mother had twins, but they sadly didn't make it because at the time they didn't have the ability to save them when born so early.
I don't think I'd dress them the same all the time, but I do think it would be cute to have a few matching outfits. My sister and I, who are two years apart, have several pics of us as kids with the same outfit on. So it's not just for twins!
@TTCBean- ALC works perfectly those were my initials before I got married! :-)
I never really thought about the initial thing, until one of my best friends, commented on how she couldn't ever have anything monogrammed because of her initals first B second A last R. So either way you go it is either BRA or BAR...
I've had my future daughter's name picked out since I was 5!
Amanda Renee -- which works perfectly because Renee is DH's mom's name!
The other options we've chosen:
Kayleigh Theresa -- After my mom (Theresa Leigh)
William Charles -- Combo of my paternal grandfather (William) and DH's dad (Charles)
Xavier James -- Maternal grandfather (Xavier)
