opk control line faint :( plz help

hi....m 25,ttc frm 9 months,on first round of clomid(50 mcg),m testing on OPK(ovulation predictor kit) frm day 12...m using "Answer" brand OPK

day 12 to 16 ..... faint test line but dark control line
day 17 to 20(upto today)...no test line and control is very faint

not yet ovulated(i think)......but Why control line is so faint??????

anybody here who has knowledge abt it??plz share

My understanding is that the control line is there to ensure the test is working. If the control line does not show up or is very faint the test is not working properly. You need to be able to compare the darkness of your test line to the control line. You definitely could have ov'd and not known it because of these tests you are using.

i used Answer brand OPK for test....m on clomid round and i was expecting ovlation

Have faith you have ovulated and the tests were just a bad batch or not used properly, that would be my guess. GL!!!

....also i hav an blood test for progestrone level(wheather i ovulated or not) on this monday....lets c
