thought i ll also add my two cents to this thread ...
Grape fruit juice helps ovulation . To help with more fertile cervical mucus you have take fruits with vitamin C and vitamin A . I take sweet lime and carrot juice till ovulation . Omega 3 also helps fertililty . Some fishes contain abundant Omega 3 .

.. An year back , i dint know what grape fruit is . I took grape juice till CD14 and ovulated with lots of ewcm on CD16 naturally . No idea whether it helped , but I ovulated .

godskid: I like your grapefruit juice idea! (especially since I love grapefruit) do you know when in your cycle you should drink it?

roccoboxr: I have started getting cramping this morning which i think might be from the soy but I know that I shouldnt be Oing this early so maybe it is doing something. It is interesting that you say you can feel O because I feel it every month! (its actually called mittleschmerz if you are interested) I can tell exactly which side im Oing each month and about once or twice a year I feel it on both sides. Seems great for TTC but normally it just kind of sucks because it can get pretty achey

I forgot too mention, but I also do weekly acupuncture too, and I love it; it has helped tremendously!

Westfall, I did start getting achey long before I O'd too, the only days it was uncomfortable were the days I O'd. I loved it though! What dose did you do? I did 80-80-100-120-160. And I could swear that I ovulated from both sides, I could feel a definite pinching on the left side the day after my +opk, and I was still aching until the next day when I felt that same definite pinching on my right side, then it faded away. So hey, maybe I got my chances doubled with 2 eggs! I have also heard that soy iso's up your chance of twins, much like clomid does . . .

Thats awesome that you may have released two eggs! maybe you have twins in your near future!! I took 200mg both days so far this cycle. I hope that it isnt too much but I read that it is 1/2 as potent as clomid and the starting dose is usually 100mg. I can definitely feel increased cramping and I know it cant be O or af so something must be going on lol!! it is exciting, make me feel like I am finally DOING something about TTC and not just waiting

I have been stirring the honey and cinnamon into some warm milk at night. It's relaxing and tastes yummy to me. Especially since calcium is always good for women

Wow, that was really interesting. I totally believe it.
I constantly think negative thoughts about TTC. I get really paranoid about everything, I think: I won't O, I won't get DH to BD the right days, I'll never conceive, it'll take years, etc. You get the gist. Anyway, the month I do it the most, my ovulation ends up being super delayed. The months that I'm more relaxed, I O earlier. I can feel that I'm physically stressing my body out, and that has a direct impact on when I O.

I'm impressed at your relaxation ritual. I want to do that too.
I practice yoga a lot. I love it. I've also noticed that when I practice yoga a lot before ovulation, I ovulate earlier! Yoga involves a lot of meditation and positive thinking, and I use it to try to think positive thoughts about TTC. So, that sort of works like what you do.

roccoborxr:I tried accupunture for two months,though i was not sure if it helped me ovulate as i didn't stick to it for long..but it was very relaxing..For optimal results 6 months of accupuncture is recommended which i couldn't do as it was very expensive where i live Thank you for adding it to the thread

i have definitely been feeling twitches in my ovaries which is not typical a this time of month so maybe they are doing something!! whoo! I am totally freaked out about when I will O though as I heard that it can delay/make it earlier.

does anyone have an ideas about when I should start OPK testing? I typically have 28 day cycle (currently CD7) but my last cycle was 26 days. so do I test for the 26 or 28 day cycle? plus nervous about the soy effecting my O as well.

I was so keen to use Soy next cycle if I had no luck this time as I have irregular cycles. However after a bit of research I have figured out that it can interfere with the absorption of thyroxin and as I'm hypothyroid that wouldn't be good

Hope it does the trick for you westfall.
