Worried stress holding us back/accupuncture?

I've just joined this site as i'm feeling pretty lonely having just got my period again this month-we've been trying for 8 months. I feel so sad most days, surrounded by mums and babies and on the verge of tears-i don't know how to escape it and i don't want to go out so much as don't feel like i'm my usual self any more-does anyone else feel like this?

I'm lucky i suppose to have a 28 day cycle and no known problems but despite implantation bleeding in our 6th month, nothing's happened and if anything my clockwork period is making me more convinced something is wrong...why hasn't anything happened yet?

Would really appreciate advice on any of these things:
1) any tips for how to relax and forget pressure to conceive as wonder if stress is stopping this happening for us,
2) any things that have helped people relax and then conceive-accupuncture? meditation? those clearblue ovulation tests? ANYTHING!
3) whether anyone else gets pains low on left hand side mid cycle and at beginning of period? I've tested and definitely not pregnant but worried this indicates something else wrong?
4) whether a doctor will see you if you're 30 and it's less than a year?

Thank you so much, am hoping this site will prove a much needed lifeline for me.
xxx

well they do suggest that you should be trying for a year before going to the dr. what other things have you tried? do you temp or use OPK's? I temp and also use opk's but the digi one's because i have a hard time reading the other ones. I also have been doing acupuncture this is my second month of doing it. It does seem to help with stress and makes you more relaxed. Also are you taking any prenatal pills? also for the cramping could be the follicles growing? i always have cramping going on during ovulation and then period time which is bad makes you feel like the whole month is one big cramp!

Yes this site is very helpful you learn a lot of knowledge! fx for you. (fingers crossed = fx)

Thanks so much for your reply. I am just about to start taking my temp and have ordered a digi OPK-altho sounds like some people have probs in the 1st month... Also booked acupuncture for next Wed-great that it has made you feel more relaxed, hoping it will do the same for me. Am taking prenatal pills. Seeing doc about cramps as still feels bit sore on left hand side so bit worried about that but hoping they might be able to help with other stuff-always worst time when just got AF, feeling a bit better today and got used to idea of no baby in 2012

How long have you been ttc?

We will see how acupuncture affects me getting a bfp this month, but I have been for 4 sessions & it is WONDERFUL!!! I recommend it to everyone! Last month I had a 41 day cycle, cd 25 ovulation. This month I'm o'ing on cd 17 (which is wonderful) so I'm thinking it has shortened my cycle (Praise the Lord.) Also, it is wonderful for relaxation. I feel more positive and relaxed! It's awesome and they can treat you for just about anything!! :-) GL & FX'd for you to get your BFP!!

Well that's a pretty dramatic change in your cycle, brilliant news! I have my first session on Wed and then have been recommended to go weekly if can-is that what you're doing? Fingers crossed for us both this cycle.
