April 2012 Clomid Buddies!

Hi there, I am wanting to start a clomid buddy thread for April 2012. This is our 2nd round of clomid at 100mg, days 5-9 and today is cd9 for me. Noticed some bright red spotting and trying not to freak out...need to wait until the morning to call the doctor.

So, anyways, anyone out there ttc with clomid in April? Please share and let's help each other out here. For me it's hard because I don't really like to talk to friends or family toooo much about it as I don't think they really understand.

Hi Hun. I start round two of clomid tomorrow (actually today since it's 2am in CA) lol. It helped with my ovulation the first time in raising my progesterone from 5.1 to 19, but af still got me :/ hopefully round two will do the trick for both of us

How many mg do you take and on which days?

I take 50mg on days 3-7 of my cycle. I start tonight but I am a little worried. Last night was horrible for me. I was throwing up and had diareah then chills. I don't know if it's a clomid thing, an ectopic, a cyst, or jus simple upset stomach? This is my first af after clomid so i dont know if they are all related or not. My right side has a dull ache on and off and I am on day three of af so I don't know if I should call my doc. I start my first pill of clomid again tonight so I want to be sure it's ok for me to take it.

Hi ladies! Mind if I join?

I just found out yesterday that I will be doing 3 months of Clomid until DH and I can go out of town to see a specialist. I have just come off a 5 month stint of Femara which made me O 4 out of 5 cycles, but possibly not strong enough O's to get a very mature egg. Once AF shows from this cycle I will call my Dr. to schedule a CD14 u/s and if I have some mature follies I will trigger and do TI.

Hi Hope and Charisse!

Hope--I think you should call your doctor asap. Those symptoms sound terrible and there is no harm in calling. I would tell the receptionist what is going on so s/he can get a nurse to help you. Clomid makes me very irritable (poor DH), with increased appetite, and also zaps my energy and makes me a little dazed or zoned-out, but nothing like what you are going through.

I've never tried Femara...but last cycle we did clomid plus the ovidrel shot. I decided to stick with just clomid for next 2 months or so and then jump into ovidrel and maybe even IUI. My dr. is very aggressive with treatment, I think. He wanted to START me on 100 mg of clomid, plus ovidrel, AND IUI!!! I had to request that we try the minimum to start and work our way up. I think it's unusual...I don't even have PCOS...just ovulatory dysfunction. I am afraid of ending up with trips or quads or something!!!

I tested today and got an evap line on the Wondfo hpt. My temp dipped down today and I was expecting AF to show today but so far nothing. I usually start spotting in the early morning and have a light flow by evening. Not sure what is delaying her now that I am getting ready to try Clomid.
