ttc help!!

hey all,

im new to this website so work with me please!
I'm currently ttc and for the most part understand how ovulation works, however, every website that i use as an ovulation calculator gives me a spand of 4-5 days that im fertile but never tell me which day i exactly would ovulate on. I BD 2 days during my "fertile period" which was april 2nd-5th, i been feeling crampy, hungry, tired, moody and weird heavy/tingly feeling in my uterus, I know its probably way too early to test but my periods due between the 16th-19th of this month, does anyone think i was success?

Hey, I was TTC for only 1 month and in that month i used Ovulation prediction kits, you can buy them on amazon for really cheap, you get like 50 of them from 12 dollars along with 20 hpts, Those websites are not always correct since sometimes we ovulate earlier or later. I hope this helps a little bit! They are worth the 12 dollars!

I'm finding I'm having the same problem pinpointing ovulation. Every website I go to gives me a slightly different "fertile window" which isn't helpful because I suffer from irregular cycles in the first place. Have you tried charting your Basal Body Temperature? I bought a decent one on Amazon for less than $20, and it's worked so far. That can help pinpoint ovulation better, along with the OPKs.

Yep. I find that charting Basal Body Temperature definitely helps you understand your cycle better. You probably can't tell much from your first chart. But once you start charting consistently (take your temperature at the same time everyday -- the moment you wake up.. and don't do anything else -- take your temperature). This is my 3rd cycle charting and you can see that once you've ovulate, your temperature will rise by quite a bit. And definitely OPK.
