Unusally Late +OPK & Pains ??

Hiya, this is my first posts on here & could do with some advice.

Iv been taking OPKs since Jan & always get a + on CD14 or CD15. This month I didnt do them religiously but I did take OPK on CD 14,15 which came back neg.

Yesterday I started getting horrible cramps/twinges & pain in my left side which made it uncomfortable to stand and move. I also became very bloated. Even today I feel really achey down there..
I thought this could possibly be an implantation sign (5/8days since BD) However I took an OPK which came back + on CD20??
I never normally ovulate this late & I never have had any pains etc around the time.

Any ideas what it could be?

Have you been under any stress lately? That could have an effect on it. I usually O right around cd14-15 but last month I didn't until cd20 and I was stressing a bit over some financial stuff. Luckily that all resolved itself and this cycle I O'd on cd11. Our bodies can be so weird sometimes!!

Nope, Im not under any stress.. More concerned about the pains as it seems very odd for me if it was Ovulation.

we are not alwyas aware of things that subconsciously cause us stress!!!

same thing happened to me last cycle...........thought i ov around cd16.......then started getting more EWCM later so did opks and both were positive on cd21-23 (but by then id given up for that month and didnt bd and missed my chance!!)

it is poss to ov that late..........you just have to make up the lp at the end..........i know that when i ov vos 14 days later the af arrived!!

Being confused by the pains is understandable...have you thought about temping? It's the only way to be completely sure that you've ovulated as you can have an LH surge but not actually ovulate.
