Stupid insurances. I can see them not wanting to cover IVF, but the other things, I don't understand. My GYN only have me one round and then I'm to call her back. She's afraid that I'll grow larger cysts from the hyper stimulation since my ovaries have so many on them. I'm hoping some of them "popped" because this AF is killer cramps! I know someone who did clomid and HSG and got pregnant the first cycle after the HSG. I wouldn't mind doing that at all.

I did the HSG test and man let me tell you, that test is painful (well for me) I literally fainted. My found that my tubes are CLEAR!!!!!! I had to pay close to $400 for that test and they billed it as PMS problems if not it would have cost me close to $1000. We took a mini break and the dr said last chance if not you NEED to go see a specialist. We are in the process of buying our home so our money is going there...man this is stressful.

Did you try after the HSG? I heard it helps the first few months following it. A friend of mine got pregnant right after HSG and combined with 50mg of clomid. She previously took clomid for 3 months with no luck.

Yes I tried right afterward and nothing. I'm more of a firm believer that when it's my time it will come. But can it PLEASE come sooner

Okay, I just took my first round of clomid yesterday, nothing bad today, only the URGE to in the morning!!

Hi ladies. I finished round 2 of clomid a few days ago and I'm waiting to ovulate. Don't worry too much about the side effects. I freaked myself out reading posts online and googling things, but I had no side effects at all. I took mine at 8pm so that I could be asleep by the time side effects kicked in. It did dry up my cm so this time around I'm drinking more water, taking mucinex and using Preeseed....I can't do without Preeseed.
good luck and fingers crossed for us all!

Well, today is my last day on 200mg of Clomid. I had minor side effects (YAY!) some slight headache, emotional, and definately some bloating. So this weekend I'm off to buy some ovulation sticks. Is it best to do them in the morning?
