i've never charted em or temp..ive read about it alittle..but it sounded like a lot of work so i was just gonna stick to the opk

The temperature is the most certain way to find out if you ovulated, but unless you've been doing it for awhile, it doesn't give you any kind of heads up like opks do. But then, even if you experience and LH spike, which is what opks measure, its no guarantee that you ovulated. Your body can gear up for it and simply not release an egg, which is where temping comes in handy. CM tracking is pretty easy, and sometimes the change in consistency and color can tell you if you ovulated or not. It works with me.
