I have a question about my CBFM. This is my first month using it, and I got it used so I know the monitor still needs to get to know me and all but...
It asked me for my first test stick on CD6 and it was low of course. It then proceded to give me a low reading for the next 12 days. It finally jumped from a low reading to high on CD18, from that day on it gave me highs for 7 days until CD25 which is today and it dropped back down to low again today!!
I am so frustrated! I was really counting on seeing that little eggy! I have an average cycle length of 35 to 38 days, and I have read having a long cycle can throw the monitor off a bit, the thing is I know you're not suppose to interpret the test sticks but DUH I did lol and it seemed like it got super dark for a day or two around CD22 and CD23 and I also had EWCM to go along with it. I thought FOR SURE I'd get the peak symbol.
I tried to calm down and tell myself that maybe the monitor just didn't catch it and I did O, we have BD every other day like clockwork since the day before my first high reading....so if I did O I HOPE we caught that mystery eggy!! But now I'm just spazzing out like maybe I didn't O at all and there MUST be something wrong with me! LOL
Help me out, let me know your experience with the CBFM the first month...new, used, anyone!! My OH is telling me to relax but it's so hard! I was so stressed out when we first began TTC back in December that I missed 3 periods Jan, Feb, March...this is my first one I got back for April and here I go stressing again! Oi!
The first cycle is like a "getting to know you cycle" I know how you feel. I got no peak on my first cycle using it. This cycle I got my peaks on CD15 and CD16. Great to see them and a nice little O pain confirming it along with 4 positive OPK's.
It is frustrating the first month but you will benefit from Cycle 2.
I'm on second cycle with cbfm. First cycle should be a little off as its getting to know you although I had a clockwork first and whacky second but I think by cycle 3 should know you a bit better. Second cycle it asked me for sticks from cd 10 which is better as sticks are so expensive. From what you say sounds like you know your body pretty well and bd at all the right times good luck!
