Any opinions of Spring Valley prenatal vitamins?

I've been ttc for just about 6 months now and have been taking Spring Valley prenatal vitamins for the last two months. I was wondering if anyone has experience with these supplements - there is a lot of vitamin C in them, and I'm not sure if this is a bad thing while ttc. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

How much folic acid is in them? That is the most important thing.

800 mcg (100% dv) of frolic acid.
It has 120 mg of vitamin c (200% dv) - that seems like a lot. Is there a such thing as too much vitamin c when ttc?

http://www.livestrong.com/article/42...in-c-overdose/ vitamin c is water soluble, it is rare, but possible, to overdose on it

I take them and conceived on our 3rd cycle. You have to take like 1,000 mg of vitamin C I think to overdose...I wouldn't worry about it unless you eat a lot of foods daily with vitamin c.

Hi there,
Im pretty sure that with vit C it is nearly impossible to overdose as you will pee it out before your body processes too much. Obviously if you were to take an entire bottle at once you might run into some trouble, but i dont think that you plan on that I think that there was even some medical research back in the day where they gave absolutely insane amounts of the vit by drip (like multiple GRAMS per hour) to try to cure certain diseases ( unsuccessful btw in case anyone cares lol)

good luck!
