Low Egg count

So I have been told by my FS I have low egg count
I should be 15/20 but I am a 5

Hubby's all good
My tubes are clear & no lumps or bumps

We are booked in for IUI in may unless I get lucky this month (it's my fertile week)

Anyone else have low egg count? Or doing IUI?

How much time do I have left? FS said I shouldnt wait but get help esp if want more than 1 kid

Hi

I also have a low ovarian reserve (AMH of 2.1). I have just done my second IUI (first one was with clomid and only gave one fat follicle, so pointless as was doing this naturally, and thinned the lining down, which I have a problem with already). Second IU done last Thursday was with injections of gonal F, which gave 4 follies. If that doesn't work then we'll probably have next month off and then go to IVF.

It's impossible to say how much time you have as there are so many factors (nobody can give an abolsutely concrete answer on that). If your consultant has said that you need to get on with getting help, then think it's probably a good idea to do so..... Good luck! x
