Trying to conceive after depo! Help

Soo, I was on the depo for 9 months only. I had slight AF with my first 2 injections! Nothing with my last. Been off the depo now for 4 months.

My question is I get all the signs that AF is coming. Cramps, moody ... greddy! But it never makes an appearance Does this mean it coming or not? I'm afraid of how long it could take me to conceive. I'm in my 20's so told I shouldn't have any problems. Already taking pregnacare, angus castus, dong quai?

I'm useless with ovulation tests because I have no idea if I am or when I would be without any show of AF! This is so hard, I am trying not to let it take over my life seeing as though it seems to jynx people who are trying to hard Really does seem the more you want a baby, the longer it takes. My son was a total surprise (a good one of course )

I had one shot of depo march 2011 and still not regular and we r TTC no.2 it took us a year with our 1st and was on depo for much longer that time.
Unfortunately docs say anything up to a year before they will look into if anything is wrong.

Best thing is to stay positive and stay calm, I've got myself really worked up and think my stress levels r having an effect on my hormones. (thats Wat the homeopath said is wrong anyhow) as its been over a year with me I'm being referred to gyny.

ud never believe how much stress and worring can effect ur cycle.

Good luck and fx ur AF returns quickly. Xx

I took provera to get my period back after depo and I got pregnant 3 months later. Just need to start your period again and then things will probably go back to normal

I took depo for three years. I didn't get pregnant coming off of that birth control but I did want to say good luck. I hated depo.. I wish I would have never taken it.

Also I want some advice .. I have just started taking dong quai with pregnacare and angus castus, and last night I was getting such severe pain I couldn't walk, still getting twinges this morning! All around my uterus. Thought it was my period trying to come back but was ten times more painful then a period pain!

I have just posted about this. I know exactly how you feel. I went to the doctors and he told me to relax as stress is a big factor in periods not arriving. He told me to come off here, not chart my temp and try to forget about it as much as possible. Within 3 weeks I had my first period and had a positive OPK on Friday so been BD'ing like crazy all weekend

It will happen I promise. Horrible horrible birth control. Will never use it again. If you need to know anything else you know where I am

How long ago did u have ur last injection? I'm bring referred to gyny now as my estrogen is low but I'm pretty sure that depo suppresses estrogen so hoping I just need a "kickstart" so to speak and that it not something more serious x

I had my lat injection May 2011 and had my period March 2012. My estrogen was low too and I had been referred to the gyn but then period came. Doc said couldn't tell whether the level of estrogen was normal or not as he suspected I may have been having a cycle just no period. It does all come together I promise. Hardest time ever waiting for it tho
