How long did it take for the trigger to get out? *pic added*

I asked this in assisted conception but I thought I'd ask here too since not everyone who uses the trigger shot goes there. I am a POAS addict. I have done a good job so far of holding out on POAS. I got the trigger shot 11 days ago and my Dr said it should be out by 7 or 8. It was 10,000 iu. Well, just to satisfy my POAS addiction, I held my pee for about...an hour...then went and POAS. It is 8pm here so I figured...it would satisfy my itch without showing positive even if the trigger was still there. Well, I was wrong. The test is a faint positive. How long should the trigger stay in your system? I was hoping it would have been out by now. I took Ovidrel 6500iu, in case that matters.

Thanks!

Middle - this morning 5am
Bottom - this morning 11 am

I don't have a clue but didn't want to R&R but if it was the trigger leaving your body shouldn't they be getting lighter. They look like theyre getting darker. Fingers crossed for you! xx

Found this online for you

44. How long does it take synthetic hCG (trigger shot) to leave my body before I can test for pregnancy? Every woman's metabolism is different, but as a general rule of thumb, you should allow 1 day for every 1,000 units of hCG you injected. The standard hCG dose is 10,000 units; thus, 10 days after the shot, the synthetic hCG should be gone and you should be able to test for pregnancy without detecting the shot. However, you should ask your doctor what the recommended protocol for your dosage is.

Some women choose to test daily to monitor the presence of the hCG in their bodies; once the synthetic hCG is gone, the tests become negative. If the hCG "comes back" and the HPT's turn positive again, it's likely due to a pregnancy and not the leftover hormone shot.

That makes sense because my Dr told me it usually takes 7 days to get out of your system and my shot was 6500iu. I should have tested out the shot but I didn't and now I don't know if it's the trigger or not. You're right, compared to last night, the tests this morning were darker, with SMU being the darkest. I guess the only thing to do is keep testing to see if it gets darker or it fades. AF should be due tomorrow so I guess I'll find out soon either way.

I sort of wish I hadn't tested but I thought I waited long enough.

Thank you for answering!
