Hi all. I am new here. I need some advice! I had a miscarriage in March. It was devastating. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant ever since. Anyway, Ive had a few symptoms. VERY tired. Cramping on and off on my left side, and back aches. Acid reflux. Loss of appetite. Anyway, I caved today and took a Wondfo pregnancy test I bought online. It came out very, very faint positive. I know alot of people have been saying there was a bad batch with false positives, but i checked and this batch wasnt the same expir date or lot #. The Positive was VERY faint, but there. I also decided to take a FRER preg test that was obviously very neg. Im just very confused because I am only 7DPO! Anyway, please give me any advice! Has anyone ever had a neg FRER but positive other test? Thanks!
This happened to me in May when I had my chemical. I had a faint positive on a wondfo and what looked like a negative (I swear I could see a faint hint of something, but it was really basically negative) on a FRER at 11 dpo. When I asked the same question as you some ladies told me that there was a bad batch of wondfos around wondfo lot 111150-3 and they were giving women false positives. I ran out and got a First Response digi and that showed "pregnant" also. Then I continued to get faint positives on wondfos for another few days, but unfortunately my temp dropped and started bleeding at 18dpo.
So, maybe the wondofs are defective, or maybe they are actually more sensitive than FRER's? I don't know. But I took 3 different tests on 3 different brands on the same day and 2/3 said I was PG, and I was. I would wait a couple of days and retest... or go get a digi. Hope this is your month!!!
