My son was born at the end of August. Although it was hot, I liked being able to sit out in the garden during the maternity leave with my feet cooling in a paddling pool, eating ice cream without worrying about the calories.
I always said I'd prefer it if my baby wasn't born in Jan or Feb because they'd be the youngest in their year at school and I've found that it can make a difference - though not always. However, I'm in my 7th month of trying and I want a baby so much that there is no chance that I'll just cross my legs this month!
I've always wanted a bubs born in Summer, and for some reason OH prefers winter... but we're sorted, as I'm from Australia, and he's English, WHEN I get my BFP this month, bubs will be due in Jan.... English winter, Aus summer!!
