Post pill symptoms?

Hey girls, hope all is well. For those of you that took the pill, do you remember your symptoms the first few weeks after stopping them? My last day on the pill was April 18th, and I finished my withdrawl bleed on April 25th.

For about the past week and a half I've been having some odd pain in my lower right abdomen. It really feels like a gas bubble trapped, but I don't think that's what it is because it's usually always there. Sometimes it feels better than others, but I know it's not gas because farting or going to the bathroom doesn't help (sorry TMI) If it was gas, I don't think it would stay in the same spot all the time!

I keep thinking it has something to do with my hormones trying to figure themselves out, but I don't know.

Has anyone else experienced this after stopping the pill?

My body in terms of unusuals was all over the place. Pains definitely, sickness etc ...I just put it all down to hormonal changes as you say. The odd thing is that there appear to be more odd things each month!! I have been off the pill since Feb!

Hope that your body settles soon!

hi i usually comment on the teen bit but just doing my nosey over here, hope u dont mind lol. i came off the pill on the 7th march and had my withdrawal bleed 2 days after as usual. since coming off the pill ive had the exact same bubbly feeling in my stomach too. thing is i used to get this even when on the pill but it was much worse when stopping. I remember comparing the bubbly feeling to havin a small orange stuck in tummy that a couldnt get out , dnt ask lol. Then I got sore nipples, they still are. think its just hormones adjusting. ive come off the pill a few times but never really had any symptoms the other times. sorry for the long post but hope this helps a wee bit. oh and im not pregnant btw x

OMG Mrs Doddy, these are exactly the same symptoms I had. They were really strong, which was weird as I had no symptoms starting on the pill. It lasted until I ovulated (had no withdrawal bleed, just very light spotting for a few days).

The main thing i remember was the memory loss.....I have a really stressful job (Finance Manager) and for about two weeks after coming off the pill was crap at work - kept forgetting to do things and would walk out of a meeting and had forgotten what had been agreed, I also had really bad skin and headaches but after a couple of weeks the symptoms disappeared - hopefully it wont be too long til you are back to normal
