can you ovulate and not have a period???

Hi girls, I was just wondering. Can a woman ovulate and not have a period????
I am 4 days late, should have ovulated on the 27th April which meant AF would be due on the 10th; and even if I had ovulated late, at the latest on the 2nd, AF would have been here by now.
I KNOW I ovulated, I always know when I ovulate. Some people say that a woman can never be 100% sure if she has or has no ovulated even if she uses OPK's, but my EWCM is always ALOT and is extremely stretchy. This is how I have determined OV in the passed and I have never been wrong as AF would should on the dates I predicted based on ovulation.
So my question is, can you miss a period even if you have ovulated? I know you can have a period without ovulation but can it also be vice versa, too???

I took a test yes, but I think I was at the most 7dpo, and some say thats too early. At the earliest it would have been about 5/6dpo. I ovulated between 27th and maybe the 2nd. Had unprotected sex on the 27th but by the 2nd all EWCM had dried up.. Im not pregnant. I have no increase in vaginal discharge or anything. So im sorta wondering if I have ovulated but not had a period... if thats possible?

I think i have read some place that the you can ovulate and not be pregnant but still have the corpus luteum cyst that naturally develops not disintegrate properly and that would cause you to not have a period. Don't remember where I read that and can't seem to find it now in an internet search but I do remember reading it. Hope that helps.
