Pregnant whilst on the pill?

Hi all,

Has anyone on here ever fallen pregnant whilst on the pill and taking it like it should be?

I'm on the pill, have been for about 6 years and it's always worked 100% for me, however this month I feel a bit different. Getting loads of early symptoms of pregnancy but it might just be all in my head as I'm broody as anything. I would LOVE to be pregnant but my partner says we are not ready yet.I would never go behind his back and not take the pill until he is ready as I think that is unbelivably selfish!

In answer to that yes I did get pregnant on the pill whilst taking it properly. Not terribly common but it does happen.

I fell pregnant while on the pill in January (on my birthdayish)

How did you feel about it? Did you feel differnt that month or just missed your period?

I had really horrible m/s it was BAD! and I noticed sorry if tmi but my clothes rubbing against my nippes at all hurt really bad and I couldn't run down the stairs because it hurt too much. I think I got pregnant though because I moved into a different time zone (7 hours different) the month before and wasn't taking my pills at the same time. But all in all I defiantely knew right away. We were dead excited but it ended in mc at 10w.

oh no, so sorry to hear that.

Yeah that could have been the reason you got pregnant - the time difference.

I bet I'm not - just got a funny feeling.

But a good thing came of it...we realized that we want to be parents now and that we are ready

we've been ttc ever since

there is something so special about seeing that little heartbeat flicker on the screen! hope you get the answer you are looking for very very soon hun good luck!

Aww that is well sweet. I think my OH is like that. He knows we can't really afford a baby but is so wanting to be a dad! I'm sure if it happened then he would be over the moon. xx
