OPK's- urine has to be room temperature??

I have the internet cheapies opks and I have been testing 2x a day. I just noticed on the instructions that Im suppose to let my urine reach room temperature. Does that really effect the outcome of the test? Ughhhhh now Im stressed out because what if I missed my surge because I didn't let my urine set? Do you do this? If so, how long does it take to reach room temp? Im using the Wondfo brand OPK. Thanks!

Hi! I can never be arsed doing that (it says on mine wait half an hour!) I'm too impatient! I've been getting positives no problem although sometimes they can be a bit light but ov has been confirmed by temp rises so i know it's ok. They work differently for everyone, you'll get to know your own body soon enough. Guess you should prob wait though! Don't know why like!

I have never left mine to get to room temperature! I doubt it makes too much of a difference - do they really expect women sitting there with a stick in one hand and a pot of urine to be able to wait for it to cool down?! x

Well I just went and found my directions for my opk's (IC's) from early-pregnancy-test.com - (yes I still have them ) and dont see that my directions said that. I never waited with opk's or with hpts - and it didnt affect my results. Unless different brands are that much different?? Mine were little strips that you dipped in a cup (not the midstream ones) that had a green end on them.
