no line on opk at 5.6.7 dpo faint line at 8 dpo why ?

hmmm i tested with opk at 5.6.7 dpo no line at all then tested today which is 8dpo and i had a faint line i mean you didnt have to squint to see it kinda faint but faint non the less why would this be ???

OPKs can pick up hCG, so if you're definately post O, you may be pregnant. The only way to know is to take a test. good luck

I'd ignore the lines you get on them after you've OV'd, it could just be that as ovulation has gone, it's still picking up some of the hormones or whatever it is after. Could also be a sign of pregnancy, especially if they are getting darker.

But I don't particularly trust them as I remember getting my husband to do one just to see what happens and he got a darker line than me!

Many women have some LH present in their systems all the time. Seeing no line and then a faint line (both after o) is not unusual or a problem. If you get a positive opk during the 2ww, that might be a sign that a bfp is on the way!
