Yes it is very possible to get an LH Surge and not ovulate. The hormone is always present in your body so its testing for something that is already there. The surge just tells your body when there is enough present to ovulate.
Do you have very large import tax then or something? I had a check for you on amazon- I assume Abu Dhabi comes under 'rest of the world' in international shipping, but even for that, costs weren't too awful, something between £3-5 which isn't too too bad but I know that it's quite a lot for a product which isn't that expensive in the first place! Hope that might help? Otherwise, I would just do some internet searching and brush up on other symptoms to look out for, such as cervical mucus and cervical position and temping etc!
Last time I looked on Amazon to ship something here it was about 50 dollars. This is what the costs range based on from America.
I gave up temping as my temp jumps all the time, even when waking with an alarm.
I do look at cm,get the ECM each month, was told that doesn't provei ovulate either. :/
I haven't quite got the hang of cervical positioning.tmi, bd feels different/slight pain if I do when af is around. (I don't give up then as my aunt, who charted for years, got bfp playing then even though it wasn't supposed to be O time.)
