Got My AF After Waiting 5 Months Now What??

Hi Girlies,
Woo Hoo!! I finally got my after 5 months of waiting from coming off BCP
Ok girls now what?
I have started taking Evening Primrose Oil on CD1 to help with CM and B Complex as i've heard good things about it.
Is there anything else I should no or is it just a matter of every couple of days after goes away?
I kinda know the answers but wanted to see if you lovely girlies have found some extra tips along the way
Cheers and good luck to everyone

All the tricks in my bag

-Guaifenisen (robitussin or Mucinex)
-Grapefruit Juice
-Prenatals
-Pre-seed
-Lots of planned and spontaneous
-Monitor CM and cervix location/feel

I have not started temping yet but I'm thinking about it. Might be a good idea for you especially since you are just (hopefully) getting back to a regular cycle.
Best of luck!!!!

Hello

Yes, i would add temping. I came of the pill, had then went on honeymoon, but started temping when i got back. As soon as the next came, my temp dropped, so now have been temping since then.

so this is my first real cycle since coming off the pill, seems i will be one of those with a looonnnnggg cycle as I'm on CD20 - i've got very very confusing CM which is doing my head in but because my temp has not gone up, i know that i can keep going as i havent ovulated. Once my temp goes up, i know that i've already ov'd the day or two before.

Only problem i have now is my DH who is completely stressed with work and finding it hard to have as he can't switch off...... if its not one thing its another...... Nevermind...

Can I ask and sorry if it's tmi!
I started my af on sunday and so far I have experienced my af to be brown and not enough to use anything, I have not had any cramping whatever is this normal?
Cheers

Helen397,
Yeah, when you first come of BCP's it takes a few cycles to get back to a normal flow. Doesn't mean that it will be harder to conceive, just that it will be harder to time fertility until you have figured out the groove that your body is getting back into.
Hope that helps!!
