Extreme pain

Hello all! This morning, I woke up, we to the potty and within seconds I had such sharp, extreme pain in my pelvic region I almost didn't make it back to the bed. I couldn't stand, it was so bad I couldn't breath and it made me nauseous for hours. The pain traveled up my right side, right under my ribs, and my right shoulder hurt. It last for 30-45 min and I've been super sore since. I'm not expecting AF until friday (and that C U next Tuesday better not show) so IDK what it was. I intend to go to the doc tomorrow, but DH almost scooped me up and took me to the ER as bad as it was. Anyone every experience anything like this?

I had an ovarian cyst rupture one time and it sounds like that. It is really awful... have you ever been checked for cysts? They are "usually" harmless, but bothersome and can make anything mentrual related very uncomfortable and painful. Some other symtoms are extreme bloating and cramping, a strong feeling like you have to have a BM but you don't, and VERY sensitive breasts (usually on one side more than the other). Spotting or bleeding can happen depending on the size of the cyst and the rupture. Everyone is different, but my symptoms matched up. If you are going to the doc, they will probably examine to see if you have cysts.

Maybe a ruptured ovarian cyst or a kidney stone?

I have had this EXACT same thing happen! It used to happen to me about ten to seven days before my incoming period, almost exactly like you described- the pain usually lasted around fifteen to twenty minutes from me. Only twice was it so bad it made me frozen in pain- I couldn't scream, couldn't call an ambulance, just kind of froze in place and tried to breath through the pain.

My doctor thinks its mittelschmerz, or ovulation pain. I think that's what it is, too- after trying to get pregnant and tracking my ovulation, I ovulate later in my cycle. Some months I don't feel anything, other months I can mostly definitely feel a sharp stabbing pain.

(I was terrified of giving birth, because I thought the pain would be just like that stabbing pain, the worst time, and there was no way I could go through hours of that crazy pain- but it turns out giving birth hurt way way less.)

I think you should get this checked out by a medical professional. Any form of extreme pain like you described is best explored properly. Don't diagnose yourself on the internet, this could be a variety of things.

I hope you feel better soon!
