is there any point?

After charting, opks, temps, timing, preseed, putting my legs up after bd, vitamins etc etc, nothing is working. I just got af, and I just am so disappointed, I feel like after so many yrs its just not gonna happen. I seem not to have issues, ovulate regular, have temp rise etc, I've had children before and the only thing is that my hubby has low motility but its not like he has none. I actually took af showing up today better than my husband. I tested this morning and told him it was negative he looked devastated. We are going back to urologist later this month, but I'm wondering if we should take a break from charting. I just feel so very sad.

Thx ladies. I very much appreciate the thoughtful comments. I actually at least am not weepy n emotional for the first time when spotting started yesterday. Yes to make matters worse what I thought was af is very light spotting lol, but I'm just baffled as to y we cant get ONE of his millions of sperm to go into my egg. Some of them do swim so I'm just confused. I feel every month passes I'm getting older & older. Hubby is worried. We just don't have money for expensive treatments.. this is so unfair. Would you believe my 2 youngest sons father has six...yes 6 children, doesn't see or take care of any of them. It's my husband who my 8 year old jumps in his lap n cuddles with every night as soon as we get in from work. It's my husband who provides along with myself for all 4 of my kids. I just don't understand how life could be so cruel to deny us that beautiful miracle of a child. Really ticks me off!

I feel exactly the same.......and I haven't even conceived my first child yet. It's just so frustrating, sometimes to the point of tears.

Hey darling. I am praying for you. Don't feel too bad, if there are no extra fertility issues u will get pregnant soon. If its any comfort, in retrospect I was not protecting but not trying and my last 2 kids are 3 yrs apart, so it literally took 2 plus years for a "wanted accident" to happen.

It takes the average couple six months to conceive.

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way! I definitely feel your pain! At least you have the knowledge that your body is able to become pregnant. Hopefully, if there is a problem with your husband, it'll be a quick fix.

I highly recommend acupuncture before starting any kind of super invasive, expensive and energy draining procedure like IVF. Find a Traditional Chinese medicine practitioner that specialize or has experience in helping women getting pregnant. They will give you Chinese herbs based on your body type to help balance your hormones and the overall energy of your body (sounds hippy, but it works). You a really good candidate seeing that you've had kids before and you ovulate. On your chart, I see your luteal phase might be on the short side. It will help you for sure. I TTC for one year, tried so many things and acupuncture + herbs changed my luteal phase the first month and I got pregnant the second.
DH can also start taking vitamins for his motility. FertilAid works great. It takes 90 days to create new sperm, so in 3 months, there should be a difference in his results.
Good luck!
