How much does restless sleep affect BBT?

I may be clutching at straws here because I guess it will be difficult to come up with an answer to this one!

The reason I ask the above question is that, I fully expected my temp to drop today (14dpo) - my usual luteal phase is 12-13dpo and yesterday I had a BFN on a FRER I'm also experiencing some AF like cramps on and off (since about 8dpo actually)

Instead of my temp dropping, it's still very high (chart attached). I had a very very restless sleep which I am attributing to stress from work and from seeing a BFN (I could kick myself for taking the test!). I woke at 3.30am and again at 4.30am and was quite restless from then to 7.30am when I took my temperature (I normally take it at 8.30am but couldn't sleep any more). To make matters worse, what woke me was the baby in the apartment next door crying

I also had insanely vivid dreams last night. I was dreaming constantly and about the craziest things, mainly work related. UGH!

I don't know where AF is?? Surely the FRER would have been positive at 13dpo if I were indeed pregnant??? I did take it in the afternoon after a LOT of water because I had been exercising so I don't know if that had an effect...And my chart seems pretty clear about when I ovulated!

I don't know what to think.

Le sigh

I'm not sure.
I'm wondering sort of the same question actually - I have a young baby and therefore I'm getting up several times in the night so I'm not sure when to take my temp.
(Wanting a small gap between the two , hopefully).
Will be stalking this thread!
BTW - when I got my first BFP I was getting cramps from around 8dpo.
& I also know that vivid dreams can be an early sign of PG.
FXd for you x

Thanks zilla!

Yeah the cramps and increased/triphasic temps from 8dpo were what made me so confident about testing yesterday. Now, with a BFN, the stuffing is literally knocked out of me

Haha, vivid dreams are sooo normal for me. Either that or I'm like a dairy cow and constantly pregnant without realising

How old is your baby?

It's frustrating isn't it! Hope you do get your BFP.
haha, I had weird dreams last night too but they seem to be normal for me. And so real that you wake up super confused and disorientated.

He's 3 months old, we were going to wait a few more months but we're starting to try now, so there will be around 1 year between them as I want them to be able to get on. But still no AF since having him, not sure where I am in a cycle (if any), just waiting at the moment x
