hey! i used to own a tanning salon, and you would not believe the people that would come in like hugely pregnant and tan...i was like "umm ok", but while running that salon i learned that dr's are now saying that it's ok to tan while pregnant (i personally would not do it, i don't even tan anymore since selling the business) i would go with a spray tan as well, but be sure to do it a few days before cause at first, it kinda does look like too much

hi...i wondered this too! i have always loved having a tan & love the feeling of lying out in the sun or even have a quick 10 min sunbed. I used to use them quite a lot when i was younger ( now 27) & i try not to use them anymore. I very occasionally have 1, had 1 when i came on last to be honest as was feeling bit down & i thought oh well im not preg & i could with cheering up a bit!! I tend to use dove moisturiser that has the fake tan in....if im going out or a special day coming up I will apply this a few days before & its seems to do the trick! xx

Either way i would stick to a spray tan or bottle tan.
We have a sunbed in our house, i try not to go on it as often, even though i only go on it once or twice a week, i try to only go on it about once a week now.
U could even try a like moisturiser with a hint of tan ,them kinds ,nivea ,dove, and lots of other brands do them, and ive got really nice tans ,not too dark, just right and natrual looking.
But whatever u want to do hun
Have fun at weddings woop x
Thanks yeah all the girls are getting together to go to the beds and set up packages to tan. I think I will just test a few different sprays or lotions as I have a few weeks to figure out which I like best.

puppymom,

just saw this in the book "what to expect when you're expecting". It says "tanning beds are out. Not only are they bad for your skin, they up your chances of getting chloasma (the skin discoloration called the "mask of pregnancy". Worse, tanning beds can raise your body temperature to a level that could be harmful to your developing baby" (page 148)

Sounded like you already had your mind made up anyway.

Just an FYI incase anyone was interested I found a really awesome spray it is body drench quick tan. You can buy it online my sister is a hairstylist so she gets it from a wholesaler it works awesome beautiful natural tan. Not orange or stick like others dries really fast. Super happy I found it. Its like 14 a bottle but worth it also a bottle will last a while.
