the length of your cycle doesnt have anything to do with how many fertile days you have, as long as you have a luteal phase that is around 12-15 days, you are fine. Do you temp?
I tried to temp last month and gave up at like cd17 or something like that! I am trying to do my best this month and temp but it is so hard I wake up like 3 times a nite to go pee!! My fiance and I agreed since he gets up 2 hours before me that he can get me to take it. The thermometer I bought will take it and keep it all cycle!!! So I dont have to write it down I can just go back to sleep...
My cycle this time was 24 days. I O'd on CD12, and then had a 12 day LP. So, that doesn't lessen my chances any. However, if you aren't O'ing until CD17, and then AF shows 8 days later... you have a LP defect. That's not very difficult to fix though. You can consult your ob/gyn about it. Good luck!
