Weight................................

Perhaps a stupid question and I think I know the answer.

Does weight affect fertility if it doesn't affect your periods/ovulation?

Different strokes for different folks - walk around the UK and see the number of obese women who are pregnant - its down to the individual

I don't smoke, or drink, and neither does Rich. He's really healthy, and I was before I had Caitlyn. I am so, so unhealthy now and I know it's bad because we're TTC but I can't stop eating rubbish =\ Well.. I could... Argh!! What I mean is, my weight is all that's different now so I keep blaming that, but I don't want it to be that...?

*Rambling*

I think we are all looking for a reason as to why we haven't conceived. I could put mine down to age/weight/thyroid problems. I know plenty of big women who have had no problem conceiving.
If you are worried, there is no harm trying to get a bit more healthy. I could do with doing so myself and that is my next step if all fails this time x

I think it depends more on your hormones... so if your weight doesn't affect your hormones, as in giving you troubles with menstruation etc, then I don't see why it would be a major factor. I had no trouble conceiving DD while I was, and I don't mind saying, well over 30(yrs) plus well over 30kgs overweight!! At the time I was under a great deal of stress regarding a famiy situation, so.... i dunno.... I think mrphyemma put it quite well that we can all pick on something we aren't doing "perfect". Just gotta do your best with what you have and if you can improve on something then do it. I am TTC #2 and would like to lose some weight, so we'll see how things go!
Gd Lk!
