Green Tea while TTC?

I've been searching the internet and I keep seeing things about trying green tea to aid in TTC.
I saw many good things on it, so right now, I'm gulping down some and will try every day this month.

What does everyone think?

I tried depo once. And it messed me up. They said it's because the body isn't used to having things injected into it.
How are you doing with it?

I think you need to watch the caffine levels with green tea. I dont mean exclude it but watch the amount you have......xxx

Eeeh idk how im doing with it. I have been "off" for over a month still no period just spotting like every other day. I've had super bad cramps today so maybe thats a good sign? lol... i am drink The Republic of Tea, Goji Raspberry Tea. And it said

"Green tea is unfermented and contains very low levels of caffeine, less than 50 milligrams per cup."

I would just look at how much caffeine is the Green Tea that you are buying.

just to throw the cat amongst the pigeons i have heard that green tea can have an adverse effect on folic acid. Seem to recal something about it makes it more difficult for your body to absorb folic acid.

Whos knows what you can believe though!

Green tea is excellent for detoxing because it contains powerful antioxidants. Unfortunately the same antioxidants that help the cleanse your system also inhibit the absorption of folic acid.

I drank a lot of green tea before I got pregnant before and then the hormones put me off the stuff - however, I stopped drinking it a while back so thought I might try it again as heard it helps with EWCM.... I think I am ovulating or have done as we speak so after this, I'm gonna give it a break again - and hope that it helped enuf. I have noticed a lot more EWCM this time round so, you never know???

I probably wouldn't drink it all the time and defo restrict it to perhaps one cup a day if you get pregnant.

Good luck

Baby Dust to everyone out there.
