CBFM Question

I was wondering how many highs you generally get before your peaks?

Last month I had 7 highs followed by 2 peaks and then 2 more highs. This month I am on my 7th high again - it makes it quite open for fertile times and almost looks too open if you know what I mean!

Is it new or have you reset it completely? I just ask because the first few cycles they "learn" your hormone levels. I reset mine last month after a MC and this month I have had 6 highs and today a peak. Before the MC I would get 3 highs 2 peaks 1 high and back to lows, but it took 2 cycles to learn than. Hope that helps.

Last month (first month of using it) I had 5 highs and 2 peaks, followed by 1 more high day. This month I only had 1 high day, followed by 2 peaks and then another high day after xx

I have been using the monitor for 4 cycles now and each month is different. I have had cycles with only a couple of lows and up to 6 highs, but also more low and only one high. To make it even more frustrating, I actually ov on my first peak, so if I only get one high, it doesn't give me much warning. My cycles are quite regular though, with ovulation between cd12 and cd14, so just need to bd around that time. The monitor is then just insurance that ovulation has taken place and helps me know exactly when to expect AF.

PS: you will always get two peaks and another high afterwards no matter what, so you don't need to poas after your first peak if you want to keep them for next cycle (if you have enough left)

I always wondered if it was ok to ignore its requests after the first peak, will it cock the machine up up or shall ijust press M when AF appears...if it appears??

It is my 4th cycle using it, and this month and last month I have had 7 or so highs before a peak - just think its a bit long when everyone else has much shorter times. As far as I remember I have been OVing around CD20-22.

This is my first month of using CBFM and I went straight to a Peak on CD 19, Peak CD20 and a high today (CD21). I guess everyone is a bit different and each monitor will have a mind of its own!

Hi

I got my BFP on my 2nd cycle of using the BFP. I think it was because I had 6highs before my peak showed. On the first cycle, I had one high only before I peaked and so not enough notice for the spermies. It is tiring when there are so many highs but worth it. Lots of luck xx
