Some people don't have a strong enough LH surge to ever get a "true positive" OPK, hun! I don't know what the sensitivity of those tests are, but most all brands are 40mIU. A surge can be anything over 20mIU... thus, there is some percentage of women who will NEVER see a true positive. They just have to learn that the darkest of the cycle was probably their body's version of a surge. So, just because it's "not positive" doesn't mean that it wasn't your pre-O surge. I would treat it like it was until proven otherwise! Good luck, hun!
