If you are ov now it will show negative, it measures the LH surge. The average time for ov is 14, but thats an average... why not track your cycles and it will be come easier? X

I forgot to say, you don't always ovulate on cd14 unless you have a 28 day cycle. Ov'ing happens from 10-16 days before af, the average being 14 days before af. So if you're cycle is 30 days you would ov around cd 16. The only way to confirm the day you ov is by temping. Once your temp goes up and stays up that means you ov'd the day before the temp rise. Take a look at my chart in my signature and you'll see what I mean.

At this stage you are better just going for it and jumping hubby to cover your bases if you dont really know where you are at in your cycle, then if you get no + results, start tracking from day one when your period shows up, being cd (cycle day) 1. Go from there then start using the opks from cd 10 etc etc. Its the only real way to know whats going on, its a bit hard mid cycle to start guessing. Good luck to you! xxx

i would love to just jump him, but he's away! owh i miss him.
think that's probably best just to try on wednesday and next week, then if i get my period to start from there.

i just want to know, i'm scared of trying and then getting a period. i'll be so disappointed!
it's the only way though

thank you for all your help!!!!!
