Supplements for DH? Increase drive?

I apologize if this is TMI..

Does anyone's OH take any fertility supplements? This is only our first month TTC but my DH is already having trouble with the EOD schedule. Don't get me wrong, he's into it and its not anxiety, but we're just not used to a rigorous BD schedule.

I've read that Fertilaid for men can increase drive and desire, does anyone have any experience with it? He's open to taking it if I think it will help him...finish the job.

This is where it gets a bit graphic. We're able to get everything into position, but things start to...get a little soft when the act becomes tiring..regardless of who's doing the leg work. We normally don't BD more than once or twice a week in our normal non-TTC lives, and we're both content with that.

We both really want to make a baby so he's as frustrated as I am about it.

Any ideas or advice is welcome! Please share if you have any experience in this area.

I don't think this is all that uncommon. It's a lot of pressure for a guy because they have to "perform" whether they feel like it at that moment or not. We an just lay there ha ha. Has he tried maca tincture? It increases sperm count and libido. If you can find maca magic tincture i would have him use that!

We're experiencing the same thing as part of our ttc journey and it is really challenging for us. Like you, we're not used to the rigorous bd schedule and it can take a toll. My hubby is also open to trying supplements, etc if it will help...finish the job. Although I don't really have any advice to share, I just wanted to let you know you are not alone

My DH always says "Zinc for the dink!" I know it increases sex drive - I don't know about any of the other stuff. GL!

hhmmmm...interesting... the "zinc for the dink" ... My DH's issue is getting him wanting to do the actual act- he's always tired from work... so we sometimes get busy 3-4 days out the week or sometimes nothing all week. it just depends. I know I get tired of the thought of BD'ing because it feels like a job- but I think I am going to try the zinc for him. Every once. in a while with him, things go down, if you know what I mean, when its regimined.

I wish i could help you- but I need the help too your not alone!!!

It is so good to know there are other women out there who know what we're going through! It's only our first month TTC, but seriously, if we were to leave it up to chance and not be on a BD schedule, we would never get pregnant. I just feel bad for DH because while I can use some preseed and even just pretend to enjoy it, he's under a lot more pressure to perform. Poor guy

So zinc, like in a pill form? And it increases libido?? Please tell me more!

Loveto - yup. It's in the vitamin aisle of the drug store. I actually found a research paper on it online a while ago but I can't find it for all the googling I'm doing.... Apparently it's low in a lot of men, and rather than try viagra they should try the zinc first. My DH used to have a SUPER low sex drive but a month of the zinc fixed him right up. I hope it works for you too!

Just google zinc and libido. There's a whole bunch of stuff.
