2 positive clearblue +/- tests and this morning negative clearblue digital???

Hi ladies I have not posted before only lurked about reading the threads but I'm hoping someone can give me some advice.

I'm 14 dpo af is due today, on 12dpo I did a clearblue (the +/- one) and was so overjoyed to get a clear positive, thought xmas had come early, next day did another one again bfp for some reason I thought to do a digital today 14dpo (think I just wanted to see it in writing) but I ended up heart broken that it said not pregnant. Ah so I suppose I'm asking has this happened to anyone and they were pregnant or is this a chem pg? Feel so depressed now after so long ttc I really thought this was it. :'( :'(

Any insights greatly appreciated

Hayley

I know what you mean when it comes up "not pregnant"

I would suggest using a Frer as they seem far more reliable then any other test.

Keeping everything crossed for you

I think the clear blue digi are 50 miu so they always don't pick up your pregnant if your testing very early into the pregnancy....if i was you id buy a twin pack of first response and re test with them.my mate got 3 positive results on the FR and when she did a digi got a "not pregnant".....she went to the docs who did a test and confirmed that she was pregnant.....sometimes its just a wee bit too early to test with the digi

Good luck!!!

Thanks Jelly I will, you have given me a chink of hope. Do you think it's possible that it's too early for clearblue digital even though I'm 14dpo and af is due today?

Maybe the digi one isn't so sensitive, and as your not technically late for AF your HCG levels just aren't quite high enough for the digi yet. I don't know much about which sticks are sensitive and which are not but I can imagine your disappointment. It's highly unlikely you would get 2 false bfp's and much more likely that you would get 1 false bfn. Good luck hun and hope this turns into congratulations.

I would try a different test the digital ones are not as sensitive so it is possible you just need to wait a while longer to test with one
good luck!

If theirs one thing im sure of after lurking on the ttc forums that anything is possible!!.you might of oved later than you thought so there isnt as much of the hcg hormone floating round you system as there should be.or maybe you haven't got as much to produce a pregnant on a digi just yet.ive seen quite a few women on here ( my mate included) get positives on FR and clear blue and when theve don a digi test its said "not pregnant"even though they are.The DIGI tests need slightly more hgc to produce a pregnant because there not as sensitive as FR or superdrugs own brand test

Keep us updated!
