You might find this interesting...?

Hi TTCers! I just got back form an early scan today due to bleeding, but it's ok there was a heartbeat and a little bean in there! Anyway, the month I got BFP FF said I ov'd on CD20 (see chart below) but today at my scan I was dated at 7+5 which means I would have ov'd about CD16/17, which is when I thought I had anyway! Just goes to show, FF isn't always right...! Good luck, and to all of you! xx

It also means I got BFP at 15/16 DPO and it wasn't that strong a line, even though it was a super sensitive test - so a line is a line, no matter what!

crossroads, I thought people might be interested in FF's accuracy in pinpointing ov dates. I know when I was TTC I had no experience of how accurate FF was and scrutinised hundreds of charts where women had got BFPs to see how soon they tested etc. The more data, the more informed you are.

Thanks Kitten,
I think it is really helpful as ff seems a little off and I was worried I could be OV sooner and missing it-so thank you so much!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep ff got it wrong because one temp was out by the looks of it, it only gave you the dotted crosshairs instead of the solid line because cm and O day didnt match, so look at all the info put together ladies, match cm and temps and any other little O symptoms! Well done hun, a healthy and happy preg journey to you!

Pleased all is well for you kitten and thanks for the info.... I only thought this myself today, that FF has now got me Ov'd on CD11... but I think it was CD13? But either way, I on both days so fingers crossed.

I think it was fine for you to bring it to this forum - if it helps the girls on TTC!!!
