Bit of a long post..

Hope you all don't mind this long & confusing post

So my AF was due on 22nd September, however I was 2 days late ( My cycles can be a bit funny ) so I decided to do a test even though I didn't really think I would be PG - I felt like I was having symtoms but I am positive that no little spermies could have worked their magic as we were using precautions.Anyway I did the test and it came back negative.

Me and my OH had broken up the week before I tested but we got back tgether on the 5th November ( long story lol)
and that night we "made up" and we didn't use anything - stupid I know but we both work, have our own place ect.
I still haven't had any sign of AF since the one in october and I dn't know if it's too early to test??

It will all depend on when you ovulated this cycle, if you managed to O and have sex on the 5th then you would be 14dpo and it still could be too early to detect hcg on a hpt depending on the day that implantation might have occurred. Its really hard without knowing when you ovulated and how long your luteal phase is. If you count 18 days from the 5th and still no af then there is a good chance your are pregnant. You didn't say when your af in october was hun?
How long are your cycles normally?

I didn't have a period in October, my cycles are normally around 30 days apart, sometimes they can be 35 but never had one as late as this.

Then the unprotected sex on the 5th wouldnt have played a part in it? Perhaps you didnt O in October and missed a period then could have gone onto O at around your normal time which might work in with the 5th in that case, still if no af 18 days after the 5th and no bfp I would pop to the docs to investigate whats going on there.

So when was your last AF - 22nd September? 24th September?

OK I see!

If your cycles are usually 30-35 days, then you would probably ov around 13th-17th October, with a normal cycle.
Your period would be due 27th - 30th Oct.
If you didn't have

around that time, so can't be preggo from oving on th 13th-ish, then may be you ov'd later for some reason (you said your cycles can be a bit funny?). If you ov'd later, then really it's anyone's guess when it could have been!

It's not possible to say if it's too early, as your test date depends on when you ovd. I would test anyway just in case. If it's a BFN try again in a day or so.
