Having Ovulation pains today, but had sex 2days ago.would i have been fertile then?
Could someone advise me on this situation as i keep looking on the internet for answer but they all vary?
I can feel that im ovulating today got the pains on one side, me and my partner had sex 2 days ago would i have been at my most fertile phase then or now? thanks xxx
I'm no expert on these timings, but you will be at your most fertile now. However, sperm can live for several days, so those guys should still be swimming around waiting for that little egg! Lots more BD'ing over the next few days and you should be well covered
Sperm can live for upto 5 days waiting for that egg.. but it depends what your CM was like at the time too. I would BD a few more times today and tomorrow just to make sure your giving yourself some more chances.
Ok thanks for the replies guys. I do seem to have very thick CM when i went to the loo this morning so im hoping my chances are high. We did the deed again last night will try again tonight, Sorry for the to much info, just want to get it right, lol, fingers crossed
Im hoping that BDing 2 days before O is effective because that is what i did this month! i Od over xmas so it wasnt possible to do it on the day i Od. But from what i read the 1-2 days before is the best time because then the sperm is waiting for the egg when it is released and it can be fertilised fresh. I read that the worry is more for the egg than the sperm because the egg only lasts 12-24 hours but sperm can last 5 days, so i would say you are in a good position
