My first post on here! Sorry it's long!

This is my very first post on here. I just want to say that I already love this site!! So many helpful people! Here is some background information on me. My husband and I are still newlyweds- married March 7, 2009! We started trying for a baby right away. I was diagnosed with PCOS in July of 2007. However, we discovered that all my hormones were fine but I still had cysts, so my condition changed to PCO! In November I had to get on birth control for health reasons. I took the last pill on Feb. 4th. I bled on the 8th and had a period on the 18th. Ovulation occurred on Feb. 1st (confirmed by slight cramping, ewcm, and positive on ovulation tests). Since about 6 dpo, my boobs/nipples have been EXTREMELY sore! I can barely wear a bra! They are never sore so I am hoping this is a good sign! Well I wish everyone the best of luck. I just wanted to give some information about myself so later we can help each other. Thanks for reading!

Hi,
I am new to...Still trying to figure out what all the abbreviations mean. My partner and I started TTC beginning of January, after being on the OCP for 12 years I stopped taking it on Jan 2nd 2010, I had my normal withdrawal bleed and then last week had a period which has just finished. I am reassured to have had a period on a 29 day cycle as I know friends who have not had a period for months after finishing the pill.
Have to admit though myself and my partner were both a little dissappointed when it came as we were (unrealistically!) both hoping I might have been pregnant already!

Good Luck
x

Was on Cileste, initially went on it for symptom control during periods, they used to be so heavy I would faint every month!! I was pleasantly surprised this month at how light my period was and I didnt have lots of cramps either which I had worried about after coming off the pill.

I just hope being on it for so long wont effect my fertlity.

OH surprised me to when he admitted how dissappointed he was when period arrived, he does not normally talk much about feelings and I thought he would be the more practical one!

That sucks that he has to go away so soon after you made the decision to try again. I don't know how you cope with the army thing it must be so scary when he is away.
Like you it was the other half who said we should TTC, we had talked about it lots of times before but it never seemed liked the right time.
Lets hope neither of us have a long wait
