over 40, looking for ttc buddy ?

hi my name is sarah and i am 43 and looking for a ttc buddy to sound off to and listen to when times are tough

. feel quite old when read most of the other threads, but helps to see not just my age against me as there are yound girls all fighting the same battle, have been on the other over 40 threads but they seem to have buddies who know all about each other and although they have been lovely and welcoming i do feel am intruding, thanks for reading this i hope you dont think me total nut job

Hey Sarah! I'd be more than happy to be your sound board! LOL, you don't sound like a nut job at all... Any time you need someone to talk to, I'm here and am a good listener.

You are right: age is only a number and the one universal thing we have in common is we want our babies! I think the more we can 'lean' on each other a bit, to get through these roller coaster rides, the better....

i am 43 and a half and ttc number one...have been for nearly 3 years now!!!! I will give up when i am 45....so fingers crossed !!!

I am 42, 43 in May. Had my fifth loss on Valentines day (still waiting for af), so I too am on the journey. Me just got to keep trying till a good egg is found

In the mean time I eat a very good diet, no booze, no caffienne etc.
I read/lurk lots, but post rarely.
Like the lottery, unless you do it you are not in with a chance, so one keeps wading through and accepting the garbage being thrown by life's fate so far

Hi

Im 39 dh is 41. Just halfway thru my fertility testing. Never had it done before. I never had kids, and I just want to find out WHY I CANT GET PREGNANT!!!!!

We been trying to concieve for about 2 years now and im approaching 40 in dec, and basically Im tired of seeing those negatives every month.

Hello! Just wanted to send some encouraging thoughts and positive vibes your way. I'm 38 and it took 8 months for us. Was getting discouraged too, went to a fertility clinic... but was pregnant already, just didn't know it ha. It will happen, just stay positive, try not to obsess over it (hard, very hard, I know all too well...) there's always adoption too!

Hi Like Twinkle i am 43 and will be giving up when i am 45.
I am 44 in Dec (28th) when yours Articbaby, us capricorns got to stick together !
and my OH is 46 all tests have come back brill and we have jsut been told to get on with it they see no reason why it wont happen so lets see .
We have been trying for 17months and have just had our 5th miscarriage ! huh but at least we know we can we jsut have to get the stickying it bit sorted now and then we are done ! Good luck to all you lovely 40 ish ladies come on girls lets show these younger counterparts that we can do it just as well as them !
Articbaby - it will happen stay positive PMA ( positive mental attitude ) we are all here to sy=upport you through and to the end xx
