Who knows about...... dont read and run please! :)

The Progesterone level blood test? I know it's supposed to be performed mid luteal phase or 7DPO. Does this apply to me if I have a 10 day luteal phase?

Or should I go at 5 DPO which would be more accurate if they meant mid luteal phase. Opinions? Pleaseee

Thank you!

A standard progesterone test is usually done 7 days after ovulation. maybe call you GP and explain your concerns and that your lp is shorted than the assumed 14 days as stated in textbooks. Hope this helps

I'm not completely sure. I'm booked in for my first progesterone blood test on CD20 (as CD21 will be a saturday). I tend to start spotting around CD20, and then AF follows 4 - 7 days later. So I guess the timing is right for my tests, as my progesterone must drop too early causing the spotting.
Sorry not much help at answering your question! Would probably be best to ask your GP.
