tampax to keep sperm in....


has any one tried this or known any one that has and worked? my friend did last month and got her BFP but I am a little warey about it i tried it today and it didnt absorb anything.. but took it out again

Interesting, never tried it though. I think it doesn't really matter if some sperm leaks out. It happened to me just about all the time and I still was able to conceive.

is it more likley to absorb the semen therefore stop swimmers from getting where they should??

I think it wont make any difference.

Ejaculation is very high speed and the succussful swimmer is probably going to have been shot through the cervix at ejaculation.

There was the same post on this a while back. Everyone has a different opinion. Some people seem to think it helps, others that it soaks up the sperm and some (me too) think it's kinda unnecessary, as if nature intend for something to keep sperm in then I think by now evolution would have stepped in! (just in my opinion)

It will dry you out inside because it is so absorbent. Dry sperm = dead sperm. Better use some kind of menstrual cup.

It does say on the back of the packet to not use tampons for anything other than a period, you put yourself at high risk of TSS.

yeouch tampax to a nonperiod vag stick to cups or tissue or a towel if you hate leaks like me. dragging it out again won't be nice.

i wud never use a tampon when not on af, theres insteadcups and other ways of keeping sperm in x
