who else has really light periods?

I think i need to come to terms with the fact my periods are now light since having the depo provera over a yr and a bit ago, they have never been the same but seem to last the right time duration as a normal period..but i cant help but feel like the whole contents isnt coming out..arnt periods meant to be deep red and thick with a few clots here n there?..Not mine obviously.....

=/ i feel very 'not normal' right now.

i dont have a single day of heavy though, its like it'll kinda pick up a bit on day 2 but then taper off and just be light and annoying for the next 2-3 days

I don't have heavy days and I have never been on BC. I have one day of spotting which turns into a light/medium flow for two days and then it stops. TMI some very small clots come out but they are tiny.

My period has been like that forever. Everybody is different. .

I don't think there is anything wrong with you!

Oh good! i guess its cause when i was younger (9) onward til i was 12 and went on bcp to stop my periods from being so very very heavy and agonizing (i was completely immobilized every time i came on at least for a whole day) But was too young for BCP at the age of 9 (eek!) so had to suffer til i was 12, so i'm used to my period being relatively normal now, well since having my son my periods haven't been heavy exactly just medium and text book type if ya like... and now theyre different AGAIN.

Also another question.... What millimeter of cervical lining is healthy in early pregnancy? xxxxxxxx

I'm curious about the mm of lining needed too. Asked the same question last week and so far haven't found an answer yet.

My AF is light now compared to before BCP. I used to get full on 7 days heavy AF. Now ... 2 days medium and 2 days light at best.

Funny how when I was young, I wished I had lighter period like my friends. Now, i wish I have periods at least halfway like when I was younger.

After surgery's my periods barely happened but I think it's just the body recovering from the shock.

Not sure how you could measure at home (!) but I found this re thickness...

'We like to see a lining of at least 8mm in thickness when measured by ultrasound at the time of maximal thickness during the cycle (see above ultrasound picture of an 11.2 mm lining).
◦There is some debate about "how thin is too thin", as well as to "how thick is too thick".

◦In general, 8-13 mm is good, less than 6 is potentially a problem, and greater than 15 or so might possibly reduce chances for successful pregnancy.'
