Cervix is high hard and closed (brown spotting) 7 days before period

Is it normal to have brown spotting in panties (tmi) for just one day 7 days before expected period...and my cervix is high i can reach it with the tip of my middle finger (tmi sorry) it feels small round hard closed and high does this mean AF is on the way ???? has anyone experienced this please help and explain....

during ovulation or impending ovulation the cervix is low and soft like lips, after ovulation it raises and becomes like the tip of your nose and closed. It would be the same if you were pregnant or expecting your period. I still wish we all had a window or a button or something that pops out to let us knwo what is truely going on with our cycles, would make our lives a lot easier. There's some sites on the web that explain all the details through the cycle if you are interested in finding out more. Hope this helps! The spotting could be implantation bleeding, so I'm hoping your wish comes true soon. Baby dust.

Actually, I dont think thats correct. Ovulation, your cervix should be SHOW (soft, high, open and wet) not low. Low is after ovulation and right before AF is due.
