Each month I added something to my routine, lol!!!

With the temps, it REALLY helps to use fertilityfriend...its free, you just put in your temps and the software helps you find ovulation! I love it!!! It was the biggest help when I started temping and was very confused about it all.

AH, I thought you said you ovulated between CD16-99 so I thought you had super long cycles, lol!!!!

I still love talking TTC because I know so much... with pregnancy I'm a total newbie

When I saw I wasn't ovulating, I went running to the doctor, lol!!! I was scared of having twins on clomid or something, but I'm only cooking 1 in there, so its all good!!!
I know I needed the help because I had low progesterone after ovuation (should reach a 10 or 15 and I was getting 6s and 8s on my blood tests).
If you want to stalk my charts, you can click on the bar in my signature and look over at fertilityfriend... my temps were different each cycle... I swear I have an example of every kind of temp pattern!

I got more and more desperate too - it didn't help any that my 2 friends who happened to start trying when I did got pregnant on their 4th month within a week of each other they both just had their babies in the last 10 days! I started acupuncture because I was ready to LOSE it completely and it saved my sanity more than anything else... it was like therapy (she let me talk my heart out) with acupuncture... PLUS a foot rub!! no therapist will rub your feet!
Oh, and we didn't tell anyone at first because we wanted to surprise them... but was so glad they didn't know because its soooo hard dealing with that failure each month without being asked constantly!

Oh I saw ppl talking about fertility friend here but I didn't know it can predict ovulation. I should try it out! That's what I need!

heehee... that was a typo. I meant I ovulated between CD 16-19. :P

I also wanna try accupuncture but I don't know where to go and how much it is. I've never tried anything like that. hm... let's see..

And yes, I think not telling friends / family until getting pregnant is a good idea. Esp. my friends/ relatives all got pregnant easily! So they won't understand anyways... I actually have a good friend who got pregnant the 1st month she tried too! So she thinks it's really easy! And I knew that they'll ask me from time to time if I tell them! Well I did tell 2friends who I think won't keep asking me... but I kinda regret that now... good thing they haven't kept asking me yet

I just googled acupuncture in my area, asked for someone who specializes in fertility and booked an appointment. I'm going to miss her now that I need to cut back on my appointments... she even said that it wouldn't be fair to keep booking me in because I don't need it as much now even though she's going to miss me. She was always so upbeat about my chances and wasn't against me seeing the specialists/western medicine.
I don't know if all acupuncturists will let you talk their ears off, lol... they generally want you to relax, which I'm sure would have been good, but it was also relaxing/a relief to just unburden.

My appointments cost me about $85 each... insurance is supposed to pay $20 per session (up to 12 sessions) but I've been too lazy to file a claim. My acupuncturist didn't use fertility as the diagnosis to hopefully get them to pay. I should probably file those claims now and put the money towards my fancy stroller fund!
So it wasn't cheap... but about the same as a therapy session would cost, you know?

OK... I don't know if I just ovulated or what. Today I didn't have CM like the past few days. But I had the urgency to go pee all the time. Then The previous 2 times, I started to see some blood when I pee. It's more bleed than I mentioned before. It's almost like period (more blood coming out this time) but it only came out when I pee. Now I'm panic... what's going on??? HELP!!!

lisaf,

Thanks for your info about the accupuncture. It seems not cheap. I think I'll try a few more months before I look into that... hm...

Plus I still can't figure out what's going on with my body this month... will it be the grapefruit juice? But I just started drinking the juice for 2 days and only 1 glass a day?!

What cycle day are you on now?
That actually sounds like you might have a UTI... frequency of peeing, blood in the urine... does it hurt to pee and do you fee like you have to pee even right after you finish peeing?

lisaf,

I'm on cycle day 18, which is usually the last day that I have CM.

And I thought about that maybe I had UTI too cuz of the urgency to pee yesterday. But u know it's really strange. Last night the blood started to come out, and then I started to have pain on the right side of my tummy when I tried to sleep. It hurts so much that I had to use a heating pad to relieve the pain before I could fall asleep.

But then when I woke up this morning, I don't feel as much pain anymore. And when I went to pee/ bowel, there was no more blood. So I'm really confused...

Hi Girls! Just wanted to add my 2 cents about the ovulation spotting... I get it every month. Sometimes it's very light spotting for a few hours and sometimes it's fairly heavy bleeding for a couple of days. I almost always get it a few days before actually ovulating. My dr told me it was an excellent fertitily sign, so most of the time I don't worry about it. But now that it's 10 months later I'm suspecting that I might have too much bleeding and it is interfering with the spermies being able to get where they need to go! My last cycle I was bleeding on and off for four days!!! I have another appointment with my dr next week so hopefully she can set me at ease. But I just wanted to let you know that light spotting / bleeding is totally normal around Ov and that you should take it as a good fertility sign!!!

I wonder if you had a cyst maybe that burst? That might explain the pain, the bleeding... and heck, if it was pushing on your bladder it might have made you pee more? It might be worth calling your doctor even though you feel fine now.

Smitty,

Thanks for your sharing! You know I never had ovulation bleeding, just very light spotting one time before. So I really don't know whats going on. But yes, I don't know it's a good fertility sign or not. I mean I didn't feel good after the bleeding started, and that lasted a few hours before I finally fell asleep. So even though it might be a good sign, I am not sure if I want to BD if I don't feel comfortable!

Anyways, please update and tell me what your doctor says. Hopefully there's nothing serious with you. Best wishes to you!

lisaf,

Yes I do have 2 fibroids and I thought that might be affecting my bladder too. But I did a body check before and my Dr. said that I'm fine despite the fibroids. I also asked my Dr if the fibroids will affect TTC, but she said the location of the fibroids won't affect that. So hopefully she's right.

Also, I don't really feel the urgency to pee that much except about 5-7 days before af arrives. I guess it's a hormonal thing. But I don't know if anyone experiences the urgent urination before ovulation too. I looked it up online and seems like this is possible too. Oh well... I'll just see if this continues. If it does, I'll go see the Dr.
