what the heck is going on here?!! Late period or PREGNANCY

I am ttc. avg cycle length 25 days. had spotting on cd10, 1st time experiencing mid-cycle spotting ever! egg white cervical mucus on cd15, unprotected sex on cd16, temp rose that day also and has remain elevated through today, cd27. currently my cycle is 2 days late. i experienced spore breasts and light headedness yesterday, but those symptoms have all but subsided today. I normally ovulate around cd12 but ovulated 4 days late this cycle according to my bbt chart and cervical mucus. Is my period late due to late ovulation or could i be pregnant?

I have the same issue. I am confused and don't want to do a test as I don't want to be disappointed xx

Hi

My understanding is that the luteal phase of our cycles usually remains constant, so a later ovulation will mean a longer cycle. It sounds like you possibly ovulated on CD16 this time so your cycle should be 4 days longer, so maybe AF due around CD29?

You could always test now as a test may well pick up any possible BFP. Or maybe wait and see if the

shows up in a couple of days.

PS: You say you had unprotected sex on CD16, so if you did ovulate that day your timing sounds perfect

i was afraid that was the case. looks like I'll be waiting for another couple of days now that it appears my period is no longer 2 days late, i'm just two days early. keeping my fingers crossed AF doesn't show up Friday. if not (and if i can wait that long) i'll test 1st thing monday morning! Seems like an eternity
