Is it true?

I don't know why or where I have got this in my head from but is it true.....

That when trying to conceive it's not just getting the day right it's a particular time slot too, and if this is true how do you know what time of day is best?

Hope someone can help...

I am no expert, but I believe sperm can live inside you for up to a week, if you give it a nice comfortable environment... So I am guessing that unless there is a problem with either your 'environment' or his sperm, then you are good to go when you know the 'fertile period'... Perhaps more than just once a week though - we are once every day/two days, just to be safe!

There are many different "methods" out there, of course. But generally speaking, having sex every other day over your fertile time should be adequate for getting pregnant. Sperm does live 5 days. You do not need to be as specific as having sex during an exact time of day.

i have been thinking bout this too. i seem to only notice ewcm on the morning of cd 15, between 8 and midday. we never bd then because of work, but i was thinking of trying that this month. if you notice ewcm for a longer period than i do, then i wouldnt worry too much about timing. but if you only have it a few hours, it may be worth timing bd to coincide! gl! x
