SO confused. Can anyone tell me if these symptoms appeared before your first period after stopping bc? And if so how long did it take for AF to arrive.

-I stopped bc on 19th September
-Had withdrawal bleed on 24th September
-Started ttc on sunday 3rd October but stupidly used ky jelly
- bedded twice more last week using conceiveplus
-Period style stomach cramps started last Sunday. I've had them every day since but still no period!
- Also feel slightly nauceos & today I have an upset stomach. Also been having a gassy stomach for last 2 days (tmi) - could just be a bug!?
- Took a hpt last night (one that tests up to 6 days early) and it was negative.

The problem is I don't know when/if I ovulated. If I did get pregnant last week the most I can be today is 11dpo. As this is my first real period I have no idea when it should arrive!! But cramping for 5 days now. Can this go on for weeks with the first period after bc? Intuitively ive really been 'feeling pregnant' but I think this could be pure hope. Especially as the pregnancy test yesterday was negative.

Can you tell me if u had all this and when your period arrived? Or did u have all this and were u pregnant??

I don't want to keep kidding myself after yesterdays negative test but I can't help but wonder when I'm sitting here with a dodgy tummy, 5th day of cramping and no period.

I had crazy pg symptoms when I came off BCP. In my shame, I will never reveal how many pg tests I went through during that time.

It took about 2.5 months for my period to return, and then I started ovulating. I used an OPK to be sure.

I just had my first period after coming off the pill and it took 42 days for me to get it so i was two weeks late. I also had a upset stomach, cramping and other pg symptoms during those two weeks.

I had loads of pg symptoms coming off BC I was convinced I was but AF came in full force after lots of BFN's xxx fx'd for you tho xxxx

I've just come off BCP and even after the breakthrough bleed I'm feeling gassy, some cramps etc, but I'm sure I'm not pregnant so I reckon it's just my body re-adjusting from the hormones. But I haven't finished this cycle yet so sadly I'm not much help as I can't tell you how long my first cycle will be!

Anyway, hope you figure everything out, keep us updated!! It's so annoying that pregnancy symptoms are so similar to AF/hormonal symptoms!

It does sound like this is just AF on her way...

I guess, like all of us, i desperately just want it to be a sign of pregnancy. And maybe it is.....but i realise it's very unlikely.

I promised myself I would go with the flow and i'm already obsessing. It could be a long way to go yet....eek!
